Dr. Amanda Venk
Dr. Amanda Pound Venk was born in Tulsa grew up in Cushing, OK. She attended the University of Oklahoma for her Bachelor of Science and is a 2011 graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Venk completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where she received training in more complex dental procedures including oral surgery, implants, periodontics, endodontics, sedation, and the management of dental emergencies and orofacial trauma.
Following residency, Dr. Venk worked in private practice for two years in downtown Manhattan and Williamsburg, Brooklyn where she gained extensive experience in aesthetic cases with the use of veneers and Invisalign®. In August 2014, she moved back to Oklahoma to join her father-in-law’s practice in Norman where she is currently practicing part-time.
Dr. Venk is a member of the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. She enjoys volunteering for local dental missions including Oklahoma Mission of Mercy, New York Mission of Mercy, Oklahoma Remote Area Medical, and Drumright Dental Center’s Love Thy Neighbor. She is also proactive in continuing education as she likes to be on the cutting edge of dentistry.
In her spare time, Dr. Venk and her husband Justin Venk enjoy working on interior design projects together as well as skiing, travelling and spending time with their family and especially their niece and nephews.
Dr. Venk is happy to be joining Drumright Dental Center part-time where she has been a long time patient herself.
