Dr. Taylor Aufill


Biography

Dr. Taylor Aufill was born in Detroit, Michigan, but soon after her birth her family moved back to Oklahoma where her dad and his family were from.  She grew up in the Noble/Norman area and graduated from Noble High School in 2013.  Following high school, Dr. Taylor earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma and then went on to the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.  While in dental school, Dr. Taylor was involved with many organizations including the American Student Dental Association, Oklahoma Academy of General Dentistry, and Student Council.  She also served as the Vice President and eventually President of the Rural Dentistry Interest Group.  Upon graduation, Dr. Taylor was awarded the Pre-Doctoral Student Achievement Award from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists for her interest and commitment to oral implantology and implant dentistry.  Now she is also a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.  Dr. Taylor has always had a passion for rural dentistry and is committed to providing excellent care to the people in rural Oklahoma communities.

In 2016, Dr. Taylor met her husband, Matt, who is a Yale, Oklahoma native.  They were married in 2017 and moved to Guthrie the following year, and in 2019 they became foster parents during Dr. Taylor’s third and fourth year of dental school.  They were privileged to love and care for 3 precious kiddos during their time as foster parents and look forward to being foster parents again sometime in the near future.  Dr. Taylor and Matt enjoy all types of adventures, finding new foods to try, and playing with their three dogs, Samson, Pumpkin, and Lucy.  Dr. Taylor enjoys golfing, reading, spending time with her family and dogs, and is an avid moviegoer.
